Topics that will be covered • Overview of the potentials and benefits of an informed visioning, decision-making and procurement approach relating to integrated design and management of the environment. • The client vision, role and responsibility relating to commissioning, delivering, managing and maintaining high quality public landscape projects integral with delivery of all objectives. • The landscape approach as an integral consideration of planning, implementation and management policy and practice. • Raising the level of client and users expectations relating to the profession and practice of landscape architecture. • A review of public landscape projects in Northern Ireland, Britain, Ireland and internationally. • A critical review of Northern Ireland’s existing places and spaces as an informative tool for those responsible for the procurement, implementation and management of our places and spaces in the future.
